Partnered with synagogues, agencies and secular organizations to offer low barrier entry point events. Responsibilities included Jewish public space programming, and liaison communications on behalf of JCF. I implemented turn-key and unique events, fostering community with Sonoma County's Jewish Community. Event coordination programs included post-2017 Sonoma County Wildfire Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Build Days, engaging up to 250 volunteers over 7 events; community-wide musical concert; senior programs, holiday programs for families with young children.Regardless of industry, success begins with relationships, fostering a culture of belonging, and finding common purpose.

Greater New York City Area

Consulted with over 15 Sonoma County Jewish organizations in vitalizing Jewish life outside institutions. Working in partnership with local Jewish communal professionals and steering volunteer teams of different sizes, I identified newcomers and less-engaged Jewish households and guided them into deeper engagement. Through implementing public space, engaging, low barrier events around major Jewish holiday themes; I provided informal, experiential Jewish education, established authentic relationships and further networked unengaged and unaffiliated to Jewish organizations based on needs and interests. Within second year, was offered profit-sharing and ownership stake.Built Pilates Department revenue from $132K annually in its first year in 1992 to $597K in 2003, representing 25% of the company’s total revenue.Grew business from one to four sites and supervised 16-18 Pilates trainers.Developed Professional Pilates Teacher Training, a 550-hour program to source growing training needs. Interviewed, auditioned, trained, tested, and graduated more than 100 trainees, many of whom have gone on to pass the PMA National Certification Examination and teach regionally, nationally, and worldwide.Designed training materials and employed an innovative approach to mentor novice Pilates instructors, providing them with technical, coaching, and business tools to offer a unique value proposition for clients and employers.
