I am committed to being a voice for victims and survivors of domestic violence by sharing my story of recovery and working with schools in decreasing dating violence and increasing knowledge of trauma informed instruction. So many people, teens and adults, suffer in silence because people do not understand the gravity of domestic violence and how it reaches people we work with, go to school with, see in the coffee shop, are related to, or are even friends with. My goal is to reach as many people as possible to combat this ugly disease of domestic violence and its impact on those who work in the educational system and it's impact on students and families via educational programs and seminars.
