Keith is an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot and type rated on aircraft including the Boeing 737. Safety of flight, in-air and ground security, and effective crew resource management are Keith’s top priorities during flight operations.Keith is not only a skilled and passionate aviator, but also an experienced criminal investigator and security expert. He retired from the Marion County Sheriff's Office (Florida) after a successful career in various fields of criminal investigation such as financial crimes, death, and internet crimes against children. Keith has extensive training in firearms, tactical movement, and physical security. He has a keen interest in physical security as well as cybersecurity as it relates to aviation and information technology management, and holds multiple professional certifications including IBM Cybersecurity Analyst.As a former Managing Member of Wilkes Aviation, Keith and his team offered flight instruction, contract pilot services, and consulting on aviation safety and security needs. Keith and Wilkes Aviation also meet the needs of their clients through consulting on concerns of physical security and cybersecurity threat management.Keith is also active in the general aviation community. He is a member of Women in Aviation International, in support of industry safety and making aviation more easily accessible, and volunteers at events such as Girls in Aviation Day.
