Portware EMS East Coast sales representatives focus on improving client transaction performance through advanced analytics, transaction visualization and workflow automation.Provide consulting services to potential clients, advising top leadership (CTO, COO, Head Trader and Head of Trading Technology) on the best way to achieve strategic goals through FactSet solutions. Extensive experience in independently developing sales leads and potential client contacts through in-depth industry research and understanding of market environment, competitor products and regulatory developments. Attract new prospects by structuring deals (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to achieve the best terms for clients and FactSet.Implement and refine sales strategies aimed at leveraging FactSet's client network to sell new solutions and maximize associated revenue. Build relationships with other salespeople within the FactSet franchise to ensure deal solutions are part of the sales pitch.Work closely with relevant teams (Product Managers, Relationship Managers, and Sales) and other company-wide resources (Marketing, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to ensure that all risk management/compliance activities related to business development activities are executed and captured. Track and report on business development results for senior leadership to identify trends, opportunities and potential areas of focus.
