About Pingping Chen
I am a senior scientist in University of Virginia. My research focuses on nanofabrication and characterization of two-dimensional nanomaterials, specifically, their thermal transport behaviors. My research during my Ph.D. focused on the interactions between ultrafast femtosecond laser and carbon nanomaterials. I have hands-on experience with low-dimensional nanoscale materials fabrication and characterization, finite element method modeling, and ultrafast laser systems. My professional skills also include experimental designs, data analysis, problem-solving, scientific writing, communication, building collaborations, and leadership.
