As the Chief Program Officer, I oversee Urban Upbound's financial, housing, and workforce development programs, ensuring full integration among these teams. I liaise with those programs’ funding agencies and community leaders and actively support Urban Upbound’s growth and strategic efforts.Before my current role, I served as Senior Vice President with Grant Associates, working on local and national workforce programs in Washington DC, Montgomery County, MD, Memphis, TN, and Allegheny County, PA. From 2011-2020, I managed the Queens Workforce1 Career Center, the largest workforce center in the nation, giving me valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by job seekers and employers alike.My voluntary experience includes serving on the board of the nation's largest Community Development Credit Union, the Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union (LESPFCU). I strongly advocate for equitable access to opportunities employing strategic approaches to achieve these goals.I have a master’s degree in Public Administration, from Baruch College, where I was selected for the Kaufman fellowship. I have a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and am also a certified Housing Counselor, by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
