· Identifying, evaluating and implementing cost optimization potential for parts and engine/customer fleets by applying the "make or buy" principle· Carrying out repair and material benchmarks, coordinating these with the specialist department if necessary and deviating optimization potentials· Supporting negotiations in procurement projects and preparing framework agreements· Implementing contractual agreements and other services (e.g. delivery deadlines, prices, penalties)· Preparing material concepts based on contractual requirements and planning for projected long-term material demands· Optimizing material usage and processes across all contracts, with regards to the customer's acceptance criteria, and applying this knowledge to other contracts and to quotations for new contracts; as well as cross-coordinating those with material planning· Analyzing market trends in the engine/module product field and developing suggestions for ways to optimize the surplus availability based on market conditions and customer requirements in collaboration with procurement· Monitoring and opitimization of material data and costs according to contractual agreements for quotation processes and preparing offerings

Major tasks on top of buyer’s tasks: implement projects affecting the whole team, improve the team's processes, SAP power user, assist other buyers in solving more complex issues, train new buyers, develop skills of the team, recruit and supervise students

Major tasks on top of junior buyer’s tasks: implement engineering changes, manage parts returned from the customer, manage complex engine programs, manage resourced parts, replace manager during her absence

Manage deliveries from PWR to the main customer, monitor WIP status at PWR workshops, provide promise dating to the customer, report delivery issues to the customer, report demand changes to PWR workshops, manage shortages and priorities
