Greater Chicago Area

-Planned and implemented over 40 meetings and events for executive team members and producers.-Inspected sites, selected venues, negotiated contracts, and oversaw meeting logistics.-Managed $350K+ worth of meetings in 2015, saving clients close to $45K (14% of total spend).-Became Cvent certified to build and manage meeting registrations within first three months of being hired.-Presented event proposals and recaps to internal clients through digital, verbal, and written communication.

Greater Milwaukee Area

-Successfully planned and completed 300+ meetings & events since July 2012, including events for eight Fortune 500 companies while maintaining a 97% planner satisfaction score. -Selected by executive team to lead all Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company events and room blocks at the hotel during annual 10,000 person city-wide conference.-Worked with “Make-A-Wish” Foundation on a celebrity attended, Blue’s Clues themed event. The successful event achieved local press acclimation. Worked with outside vendors on ordering linen, chairs, decorations, etc…

Greater Milwaukee Area

-Assisted in the supervision of food and beverage outlets including staffing, training, scheduling and visually monitoring performance to insure adherence to all service standards for over 30 associates.-Developed new promotional material and refreshed the merchandising approach for the hotel retail store, “Café Pfister”.-Proactively ensured that all guests’ needs were consistently met or exceeded by improving and maintaining all aspects of the four outlets, including cleanliness, food and beverage quality.

The Pfister Hotel

-Assisted in the development and branding of a hotel-wide training document called “The Pfister Promise”, which was considered for adoption for all Marcus Hotels.-Promoted to Hotel Assistant Manager based on above average rated performance results and due to exceeding the AAA Four-Diamond and Preferred Hotels and Resorts Standards.
