Responsibilities• Analyse data and market trends to create and execute buying strategies that effectively drive profitable sales across all brands and all product categories• Manage and develop team of 2 buyers admin assistants and Assistant Buyer in addition to mentoring a Junior Buyer on Outlet Non-clothing• Regularly travel to Europe, USA and Hong Kong to source new brands and make selections • Work closely with merchandising team to monitor OTB’s, estimate forward sales build budgets and control stock levels including trading, production and sale buysAchievements• Successfully develop the ASOS outlet platform to include a comprehensive offer of High Street, Street and Denim brands including Carhartt, Adidas, Warehouse and Oasis having leveraged my previous full price relationships• Created a Specialist Outlet departments within ASOS Outlet including SMU brands such as French Connection and Kate Thomas• Helped launch the ASOS.cn site as the branded buyer across Mens & Womens• Personally worked from Junior buyer to Buyer Level 2• Successfully developed assistant buyer to Junior Buyer
