I have graduated Bournemouth University with a 2:1 and will receive a Bachelor’s Degree with honours in Law. I am now excited at the prospect of starting my legal career journey and am looking to gain valuable experience in any domain. I am currently employed at Lovelle Estate Agency as a Letting's Negotiator.Through my current and past employment, I have developed exceptional communication and customer service skills. I enjoy meeting new people and ensuring that their expectations are met. In my current role, I have gained valuable office experience, as well as dealing with legal concept. I draft legal documentation such as: Tenancies, form 3a's, section 8, 10, and 11 forms, and court paperwork. Because of my role, I negotiate with clients on a daily basis, such as discussing maintenance with landlords, or discussing prospective properties with tenants. I have enhanced my communication skills here, by dealing with different types of clients. My organisational skills and time-management skills are further enhanced through the want to balance my full time work with my hobbies. I have achieved a skills test from LinkedIn for Microsoft PowerPoint, and through my current role I am confident using Microsoft platforms which include Outlook, Word, and Excel.In 2018 I was fortunate enough to have a work experience placement at a law form. Supervised by a legal advisor. I learnt how a court bundle is created, how to professionally conduct a telephone call and how to draft a professional email. Having this opportunity inspired me to gain the relevant qualifications to work within the legal system and motivated me to achieve my University degree.My skills were further developed through my volunteer work experience. The first of which was as elected choreographer for the Bournemouth University Dance Society, a role I kept for two years. Leadership was a large part of the job, I was responsible for leading a team of 18 dancers to win 1st place at two national University competitions.My second volunteer role took place during my school days. I had the opportunity to travel to South Africa to join a small team on a mission to create a drainage system for a local school. The project was deadline driven, and relied on good communication with a wide variety of people from different cultures. I even learnt some phrases in Swahili so that I could communicate more effectively with the local people. The project was completed on schedule and it was an amazing experience for me, showing how excellent teamwork makes things happen.
