I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) with a Distinction in June 2012 and have since enjoyed working as an associate osteopath in small family practices in Kent, the BSO associate evening clinic in London, THE Medical, a large multidisciplinary clinic in Central Bristol, The Carl Todd Clinic in Wiltshire and set up a clinic 2 days a week in Gloucestershire, Cirencester Osteopathy. This then lead on to opening a larger multidisciplinary clinic in my home town in Wiltshire, Malmesbury in 2016. External clinic experience as a student gave me the opportunity to work in GP practices, retirement and residential homes, expectant mother’s clinic, homeless shelters, HIV and children’s clinic with patients from all walks of life which has translated into my career. I not only see osteopathy as a profession, but as a life-long learning experience. I have a continual aspiration to achieve a higher level of knowledge and skill sets and have taken postgraduate courses in paediatric osteopathy, the TMJ, dry needling, rock taping and shockwave therapy. I am hoping to gain further qualifications in cranial osteopathy in the near future and have learnt many new techniques and approaches for sporting injuries working alongside, and observing Carl Todd, an opportunity for which I'm so grateful for.
