Management of people and resources for upkeep and maintenance of the vessel. Application of engineering sciences, mostly mechanical and electrical engineering, to the development, design, operation of ship and its systems.

Work on design, maintenance, overhaul of shipboard machineries such as engines, purifiers, boilers, pumps and compressors.

Operation, Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Engineering systems on ship which include Engines, pumps, cranes, heat exchangers, purifiers, boilers and compressors. Engines are 2stroke & 4stroke which may be slow/medium/high speed engines working on HFO/MDO etc. Worked on Daihatsu 6DL26 & 5DK28 engines & MAN B&W engines at length. (Detailed work experience on the respective machineries can also be provided if needed.

Pre - Sea Training for One Year at IMS, GoaWorked as Trainee Graduate Engineer for one year. Worked on Trans-shippers which are specialized Bulk Carriers for transporting and loading iron ore on the coast of Goa . Trouble shooting and worked on various marine systems and diesel engines of yanmar and wartsila.Worked and trained at Marine Electrical Workshop; Mormugaon Port Trust.Trained also in increasing machining and repairing skills by training exhaustively on Welding, Fitting, Carpentry and Machining.

As a business development executive I was part of a team responsible for identifying and entering new markets for which our vast line of products can be used. To introduce, meet and set up business and sales with stable, long–term profitable clients. To identify new products and learn about them and include them in our range of offerings thereby increasing our fastener product range and our market.
