Peter J. Arsenault, FAIA, NCARB, LEED® AP, is a registered architect, sustainability consultant, author, and speaker based in the Greater St. Louis, Missouri area. A 1977 graduate of Syracuse University, his multi-faceted work has focused on principles of energy, environment, and sustainability since the 1980’s, well before the term “green” architecture was popularized. His 40 year career includes design and planning for a wide range of public and private clients on governmental, educational, health care, residential, and religious buildings. He shares his experience regularly at seminars and conferences around the US related to practical aspects of making sustainability part of good architectural design. He has over 160 published national continuing education courses to his credit plus numerous other articles in professional journals, magazines, and books related to green and affordable design.
