• Conducted stream channel surveys of 15 bridge sites using a total station, flow tracker, and acoustic Doppler current profiler in order to evaluate the long-term performance of in-stream channel stability structures• Collected composite and grab wastewater samples at 6 sites on the University of Oklahoma campus and 14 sites in the Oklahoma City metro area in order to monitor COVID-19 levels, and programmed and maintained the ISCO autosamplers used for sample collection • Sampled 20 streams across the state at regular intervals throughout the recreational season to test for E. coli and enterococci as a part of the 303(d) list impaired streams monitoring project in collaboration with ODEQ and the EPA

• Devised and implemented an honors thesis project that aimed to monitor snail populations on the University of Oklahoma campus and evaluate their proximity to other habitats• Performed various statistical analyses on community similarity data in Excel to determine the main methods of snail dispersal on college campuses• Identified the first individual of a European snail species in Oklahoma in collaboration with another researcher
