I am currently a transactional lawyer focused on large complex projects in the energy industry, including LNG, renewables, hydrogen and carbon sequestration projects. I was the lead lawyer on the Moomba Carbon sequestration project which is one of the world’s largest carbon sequestration projects and was the first Australian carbon sequestration project to be eligible for Australian carbon credit units.I advise large LNG projects in development including corporate structure and international marketing documentation, spot markets, shipping (including ship chartering), transportation, tolling and processing. I advise on developing greenhouse gas licence joint ventures, including joint bidding and equity acquisitions and sale.I have 20+ years experience providing pragmatic legal advice to client’s on their commercial and corporate transactions. I have specialised skills in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, private equity, shareholders agreements and other associated contracts.I have many years of leadership experience, including as a partner of a commercial firm, and enjoy working in teams and mentoring.I have worked in Beijing, London and Australia and have advised on projects in most States and Territories in Australia.I have been fortunate enough to work on really interesting commercial law issues with leaders in legal practice, this has kept the practice of law rewarding for me.
