I enjoy finding novel solutions for unsolved problems. At the University of Southern California, where I am a Mechanical Engineering major starting my junior year, I have combined my studies with practical experience to improve my engineering skills.• Working on Formula Electric at the University of Southern California is giving me leadership experience, ownership over large design decisions, and expanding on my design and manufacturing skills through the utilization of simulations and design tools in CAD as well as advanced manufacturing techniques• Experience with the Advanced Robotics team at the University of Washington showed me the fundamentals of mechanical design, from designing with CAD to production using a variety of machines including mills and lathes• A summer internship at Flatiron Construction taught me AutoCAD, Excel, and how to work, collaborate and communicate in a large corporation
