I am an internationally experienced executive and CFO, with 25 years’ experience across multiple industries, particularly in the insurance and financial services sectors.As CFO of Tower, I am focused on progressing our strategy to be the leading direct personal lines and SME insurer in New Zealand and our Pacific markets, driving performance, continuous business improvements and long-term sustainable growth. As part of this I want to ensure that Tower continues to have a positive impact on customers, communities and the environment. I am also the executive sponsor of Tower’s Māori roopu, Ahi Kā. In 2024 Tower was awarded the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Excellence in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion award.Prior to my current role, I was based in Tokyo as the Chief Financial Officer and Far East Region Director for Chubb, one of the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance companies. I spent almost sixteen years in in the UK with Chubb, AIG, Nomura Investment Bank and Deloitte.I am married with three kids, and enjoy coaching the kids’ sports teams, outdoor adventures, camping and BBQing with friends. I have a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
