I'm a Technologist operating in business, production and R&D with the ambition to solve, together with colleagues, complex problems in a challenging technical multidisciplinary environment.I help companies get a grip on stalled projects or ones that (tend to) run out-of-control. Due to my client focus and multidisciplinary experience I am able to rapidly zoom into the critical hold points and inter-dependencies of a project, both technical and economical. Next is to (help) define a concise step-wise project plan wherein critical project items are mitigated often with more proven technology as a fall back option. This allows for creativity and prevents projects to be too rigid when e.g. introducing new risky, but high gain, technologies. It also creates more manageable chunks on which project members can better focus. I have a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and what I can bring to the work floor is a variety of tools and skills: - strategy & execution - CapEx/OpEx;- portfolio and program management - LEAN, PRINCE-II, IPMA, CII;- quality improvement (LEAN, DOE, 6S, TQM, RCA) and system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ);- industrial safety management & control - HAZID, HAZOP, TRIPOD, SIL;- engineering, R&D and project management - R&D, FEL, BoD, BDEP, DE, Execution, Start-up & Commissioning;- automation - Functional description, (big)Data analyses, Excel/BI/MES, PLC/DCS. My professional experience lies in pilot, batch & continuous processes for both process industry and (semi-government) research establishments.
