I greatly expanded our existing “Science of Helicopter” programming, as well as developed and managed an innovative (and profitable) series of hands-on science workshops. In addition, I developed a new history program aimed at fourth-grade classes and am in the process of marketing this program to local elementary school teachers. I also oversee all aspects of Girls in Science & Technology (GIST), a ten-week enrichment program held biweekly at the museum during the fall and spring. I ensure our curriculum meets Commonwealth of Pennsylvania education standards, hire and train mentors, develop advertising, solicit donations and grants, and evaluate the program. Finally, I worked with our exhibition and archives committees to develop new exhibits. -
