- MSC Software is the leading provider of Simulation softwares, including industry leaders like MSC.NASTRAN, MSC.ADAMS, MSC.EASY5, MSC.SimXpert etc. I led a team for the "Motion" group of SimXpert, developing Industry leading kinematic simulation software.- Managed and participated in about 50 projects, designing implementing various features of SimXpert/Motion workspace, for its R2, R3 and R4 releases. The work included UI creation (using Qt and C++), integration with the solver (MSC/Adams) for simulation and then post processing of the results (charting, animation). Just few of the projects completed by me which received excellent feedbacks from my bosses at MSC are: Contact Completeness, SCWS integration, and inline Qt plotter for Splines.- Consistently ranked among top 5% among my peers and subordinates, for 3 years in a row.- Acknowledged by MSC management for fixing a very high number of bugs (500+) in these 3 years.- Double up as a testing resource, testing the product to file 300+ defects in these 3 years.- Managed and mentored a team of about 10 developers.

- Worked on rewriting Unify-Broadworks & Unify-Sylantro service managers in C#/.NET technologies. Unify is a plug-able platform for service provisioning, a product built and marketed by Ensim. I was new to C#/.NET technologies, but picked it up fast for working in this product. The Unify-Broadworks service manager 3.1.1 has been released recently and my contributions to the same were highly appreciated by the management.- Managed multiple projects of the above work single-handed and with team members, viz. design and implementation of User management, Quota management, Trunk Group management.- Mentoring subordinates and member of the hiring panel.

- Worked on the Centricity Peri-Operative Manager (CPM) suite of applications, which are helping automate operating rooms at many hospitals in US & around the world. The work involved extensive programming in VC++, Java, J2EE (EJB), COM, & Activex controls. - Integration of these applications through the use of HL7 (Health Level 7) protocol.- Design, planning & implementation of the Centricity Tracker, an application that would track patients in the hospital in real time. This application was implemented in a 3-tier J2EE framework. I designed/implemented the “Case List View” & “Move Case” modules of this project, client & server sides in Java (swing, SWT)/J2EE (EJB) along with the design of database tables & the associated queries.- Performance & JVM tuning effort of Centricity Tracker.- Integration of test plan of Centricity Tracker, finding largest number of SPRs in this application.- Redesign of the “Authentication/Authorisation” module of Centricity Peri-Operative Manager (CPM), in C++ & Delphi. There was NO budgeted time for this & I took this task on my own initiative. This required meticulous verification of each & every line of code. From design to testing, everything was done by me alone, under a time limit of less than 2 weeks! This project saved Centricity Tracker from many high severity bugs. This work was highly appreciated by the management & this module is now central to user account management for all Centricity applications.- Fixed about 500 bugs in different applications of CPM in VC++ & Delphi, gaining insight into the work flow of health care domain.- Design, implementation of many serviceability features of CPM using VC++ & Delphi. These tasks were completed with high level of quality, in spite of the fact that I was new to healthcare domain.- Received 3 Night On The Town(NOTT) awards.- Consistently recognised as “Top talent with outst&ing values” in the performance reviews.- Trained on Six – Sigma DMAIC & DFSS processes.

- Worked on Granite, PTC's leading geometry-modelling kernel. The work involved extensive programming in C and C++ with little bits of Java, COM and DCOM among other PTC technologies.- Worked for the Translator (STEP, IGES, VDA and PARASOLID), gPlug, gStudio and Assembly modules of Granite.- Was involved in the development of a bi-directional translator between Granite and Unigraphics, and a unidirectional translator from I-DEAS to Granite in C++.- Helped in developing and standardising the regression test suite of Granite, by writing hundreds of C/C++ and Java tests for testing the Granite kernel.- Wrote many Perl and Shell scripts to automate the regression test suite of Granite, to keep new regressions away.- Worked on various enhancement and maintenance projects of the User Interface (UI) group of CADDS5, for 11/12/13th revisions and PTC's Associated Topology Bus (ATB) technology, which imports and exports a wide range of CAD models from one CAD packages to another.

- Development of Fluidyn-CAD, a CAD package to create various geometric shapes. Also it can read/write the entity databases in various formats like IGES, DXF and ANSYS etc.- Implemented the Family of Rational/Non-Rational Bspline/Bezier/NURBS Curves and Surfaces in Fluidyn-CAD.- Partially implemented Surface-Curve, Solid-Surface, Solid-Solid intersections and projections in Fluidyn-CAD.- Export/Import of CAD entities to/from IGES format in Fluidyn-CAD.- Improvement of the Menu-Interface (MI), developed in-house for creating user interfaces for all the products being developed. However it was quite old with very primitive looks and needed improvements.- Standardisation of library functions, which were internal to all the products of Transoft. This also included porting part of the existing code from C or FORTRAN to C++/Java.- Development of Fluidyn-GEN, which imports entity databases from Fluidyn-CAD, ANSYS and DXF etc. and meshes them use in numerical analysis.
