• Design and build discovery and access interfaces for the digital library, content management systems, library catalogs, digital exhibits, learning resources, and other systems.• Designs, implements and continuously improves a set of standardized, highly flexible themes and user interface elements for use on 200+ websites and applications within the College of Engineering using wireframes, photoshop, html5, CSS, javascript, PHP, Drupal, Ruby on rails and Vue.js.• Works with major college organizations to provide individualized site design, planning, and support services.• Creates reusable designs for other web-related needs such as digital signage, email templates, and applications.• Researches and implements emerging internet technologies and standards.• Optimizes sites for search engines and monitors web activity/performance using analytics.• Work as a project manager with clients, developers, and marketing staff to plan and conceptualize the visual design and flow of websites and mobile apps.• Coordinate multiple projects at once from conception through production to ensure that all schedule requirements are met.• Act as liaison between technical team and client.
