My career experience and skills have grown from childhood passions and early job opportunities: writing, selling various commodities – water, plantain, cassava, tomatoes, cloths, etc. - in the markets, internships, and volunteering. I enjoyed organizing and tracking stock, following up on customers for payments, counting and reconciling money, among others. I have been able to convert those passions into reality through various roles and educational paths in my career.I started my career as an accounts officer leading finance and administrative efforts to manage a school with over USD$200,000 in revenue. From there, I served as an intern – Loan Officer - at Mutualité Femme et Développement (MUFEDE-BF) Burkina Faso where I was key in managing client portfolios and creating support systems to decrease workload and increase productivity of account managers at the accounting department.I played a key role in the audit and assurance team at MB Delwin Consult as Audit Assistant. We provided audit and assurance services, leading small teams in the areas of internal audit, risk management, IT systems and IT operations management, among others, where our client satisfaction levels increased to over 100%, reducing and avoiding risks.I managed a team of 32 staff members in the finance and administration department, training, and mentoring at The Baba Tree Company Ltd. Implemented effective internal sales and financial control measures that brought about 100% increase in sales and revenue year on year for 4 years. I have managed projects worth over USD$2 million. We won the MEA Business Awards 2020 for Best Artisan Product Retailer and Wholesale Supplier – West Africa. Got nominated for the 3rd Chamber Business Awards, 2018 by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry. We were also nominated for the 28th President’s National Awards for Export Achievement, 2018 by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.In my current role, the overall purpose and objective is to manage Swire Pacific Offshore (Ghana Branch) finance in delivering timely, high-quality services to meet the contractual requirements of SPO. To maintain accounts in accordance with company policy and local statutory requirements, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and compliance with Petroleum Commission’s local content laws/regulations where applicable. Tidewater completed the acquisition of Swire Pacific Offshore on 22nd April 2022.
