Sidetracking wells using a heavy workover unit 460K is a cost effective solution but require to have the proper unit with reliable equipments, a good team spirit and teamwork. I was heading well engineering, installation of the unit on site, purchasing of equipments. Acting as superintendent deputy: sending daily report and lookahead, preparing equipments and load out, discussing operation procedure and way forward with supervisors. Manage a team of 20 - 25 peoples. I studied the Drilling with liner application with versaflex liner hanger as optimization and mitigation for hole stability issues.My major responsibilities / tasks were but not limited to the following:- Implement a logistic plan which will optimize the unit move and reduce all logistic stand by.- Put in place with the help of mud engineer a mud strategy to prepare the mud on limited space area and make sure to have enough volume to cover any situation that may occur.- Prepare the procedure for drilling, tripping, hole cleaning, whipstock, lifting, logging. Launch all the technical discussion in report with the well engineering and logistic strategy.- Prepare SIMOPS matrix and launch HSE discussion with all department involved.
