Responsibilities included face-to-face requirements gathering with external clients, the development of generic reusable software components, and database and web application design and development within a team of 6 developers:- HitachiDigitalMedia.com: a multilingual online product catalog showcasing Hitachi’s consumer electronics. I undertook full responsibility for the design and development of the database for this content management system, which allows on-line maintenance of Hitachi’s website in eight languages and management of role-based-access-control.- Dell Financial/E-Wards (Extranet): Solely responsible for the creation of a corporate incentive management tool written using servlets and JSP. Involvement spanned the full project lifecycle from client-facing requirements analysis to specification, design and development. This application includes a fully configurable database-driven product catalog, bulk email and flexible reporting functionality. Due to the success of the initial version, I was given the task of writing a more generic version of the application in order to allow several companies to utilize the same system simultaneously.
