My one to one Play Therapy sessions offer the child a safe and confidential space to explore their feelings and behaviour. Through child-led, non-judgemental sessions the child can face what is troubling them. My therapeutic responses give the child the opportunity to explore new behaviours and in this way the child builds new neural pathways rather than just following the old (the troubling behaviour). This in turn can help them to make changes in the way they feel and behave both at home and at school, thereby enabling their potential. It can be very powerful.I am also trained as a Filial Coach and can work with parent and child to improve their relationship through attachment activities using Theraplay principles.
