I’m a Registered Electrical Engineer with almost 5 years of experience in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management and safety engineering in the field of plant operations and manufacturing. I helped develop HSE programs and conducted safety inspections and safety audits to assess effectivity of safety controls. Examples of my achievements include:• Spearheaded the safety audit of over 50 contractors and suppliers by developing a safety audit standard that ensured compliance with government and company requirements• Enhanced the fire and explosion safety to all hazardous work areas by planning and installing grounding verification monitors and revising work procedures• Worked with a team to develop and implement an energy control program for over 150 equipment that prevented hazards during preventive maintenanceThe experience I had with engaging with students, drafting syllabus, and evaluating exams as a part time faculty at a college helped me transition as a Health, Safety and Environment trainer.
