March 29 forward – Primary Design Supervisor: Assigned to Ford Mexico Division to Implement International Design Development Programs for Mexican Engineers. This involves International travel to Mexico City, Santa Fe and elsewhere within Mexico to accomplish the goals of the Program, which is to bring Design Capability of Complete Vehicle Architecture Knowledge Based, BIW and Interiors to Ford Mexico using Template Design Configurations and Product Contextual Linking. In Addition, to direct Design Groups in ongoing Design Tasks Assigned to Ford Santa Fe, Mexico.February 1st - D258 Deck Lid System from Class A with CATIA Class A work to Prepare the First Walls for Production Configuration. I began with Receiving the Primary Class A (from Alias) Surface in the Beginning of February and Converting to CATIA Class A Blend Surf G3s, (which was months behind in the Program Timing) and completed the development of the Deck Lid System Production Intent by Mid March. I was awarded A Certificate of Outstanding Achievement by Ford Motor Company for this.January 6 - Redesign of Longitudinal Rear Impact Structure for Ford Taurus Police car 70 MPH Rear Impact Requirement.
