2024/10/04The past 10 years of my 30+ year career have been mostly APM monitoring using tools such as Dynatrace, SCOM and Qualys. Also automating tasks using PowerShell for Windows and shell scripts for Linux. Servers being monitored range from Windows 2003 through 2022 and Linux 6 through 9. Servers resided on-prem (physical and VM), private cloud, Azure and AWS.I am interested in full-time or even part-time Systems Engineer, Security, Monitoring, DBA and/or Management opportunities. Either remote access or local to the northern Twin Cities, Minnesota, area. Prefer direct client contact over an agency, though I am open to either.My analytical skills have helped me to excel in overall systems and network design, implementation, support, trouble-shooting, etc.I enjoy scripting/programming and other technical work along with learning new tools, documenting and sharing knowledge with others. Automation is preferred over manual repetition.Specialties: Design and code special monitoring, trouble-shooting and 'Repetitive Task' software tools/scripts to assist with many Engineering/Administrative Duties.
