Led Gitpod’s community team, people manager of community engineers. In organizing the #HackMed18 hackathon, I secured sponsorships from GitHub and the University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE), raising £1,500. I engaged Computer Science and Engineering students, encouraging them to apply tech skills to solve healthcare problems and achieved a 50% attendance from female students. I also led all social media communication for MedTech Sheffield events.
