● Built a workload distributor within excel using VBA that disperses weekly tasks evenly to the engineers on the EPC team. The tasks were assigned based on the estimated time it will take to accomplish them. Additionally, the distributor exports tasks to the assigned team member and tracks the progress. It reduced the administrative workload turnaround time 1 day to 15 min. This program was designed to be used within any team.● Pioneered a project to retire repetitive excel tasks based on the requirements of the team. This was accomplished by automating actions in the excel environment using VBA. Actions included the automated process of importing and normalizing data to existing sheets as well as macros that automate series of repetitive tasks during the processing of the data.● I was selected to be part of a team that went to Alabama for 2 months to build and test a prototype truck. Using Simulink and Matlab, I created and tested the thermal management subsystem used to control the temperature of various components. It was successful in its operation and used as the foundation for the final product.● As a result of teaching myself Windev23, I created an application to read, decode and analyze the CAN data pulled from trucks that are in use. The data was then stored in a database that I built also using Windev23. The data was used to identify the design requirements for the prototype truck.

● Made use of excel and VBA to capture, normalize and analyse traffic data of a province over a ten-year period. The data was used to identify problem areas at intersections in the road network. The data was then used as the foundation for project planning for roadway and intersection design.● Created small VBA scripts to improve productivity around the office by automating daily processes.

● With a two-week deadline, I familiarized myself with VBA enabling me to refactor the code used to manage the staff as well as added features that minimized errors from incorrectly entered data.● Created a rudimentary code generator for engineers with no programming knowledge which enabled them to add formulas to use in their daily excel workbooks. This launched company wide and increased productivity by having a database of engineering formulas that are quickly accessible.
