About Martin Pohlmann
Hi, I'm Martin. I'm a designer from Germany and currently live in Sarasota, Florida. I work at AKQA where I lead teams in digital branded experiences and design systems. Previously, I was at Ogilvy 485 in Chicago working on brand platforms and identity systems. Over the years, I've had the pleasure working with globally recognized brands including Absolut Vodka, Audi, City of Chicago, Delta Air Lines, IBM, Modelo, TD Bank, The Masters, and U.S. Soccer.Along with my work in branding and digital design, I have also designed various typefaces and publications. My work has been featured on AdAge, Communication Arts, GDUSA, and The One Club. In 2020, I had the honor to give a talk at the AIGA Design + Business Conference about my Ringling College rebrand.I grew up in Hamburg, Germany and have moved around to Chicago and Atlanta before relocating back to Sarasota where I studied Graphic Design at Ringling College of Art + Design.
