I had a portfolio of some 15 companies. My clients' activities ranged from manufacturing, construction and trading sectors. I had a team of three staff to assist me in my job. My responsibilities regarding the team included on-the-job training; performance appraisals; task delegation; staff management and all related administrative work. My duties consisted of planning audit assignments, monitoring my staff's work, dealing with all routine matters arising during the assignment, reviewing the work done by my staff and wrapping up their work before reporting to the partner.
