Dr. Poonam NegiPharmaceutical Scientist | Innovator | EducatorI am a highly innovative, creative, and dedicated pharmaceutical researcher with 16 years of experience in teaching and guiding postgraduate and Ph.D. students. I hold a B.Pharm from UIPS, Panjab University (2006), an M.Pharm from NIPER, Mohali (2008), and a Ph.D. from UIPS, Panjab University (2015).My research focuses on the design, synthesis, and optimization of plant-based nanostructured drug delivery systems, particularly for skin-therapeutics and cosmeceutics. I also specialize in the formulation and evaluation of herbal/nutraceutical products with bioavailability enhancement, site-directed delivery, and the design of carbohydrate polymers for drug delivery applications. Additionally, my work includes dermatokinetics and both in vitro and in vivo studies.I have published over 100 peer-reviewed papers with more than 3,828 citations, achieving an h-index of 34 and a cumulative impact factor of 334. I have been granted 8 patents, with 7 more published. My expertise in nano-medicine, drug delivery, and herbal drug technology has led to the technology transfer of herbal drug formulations targeting skin inflammatory disorders.I have served on various university committees, including NIRF, NBA, NAAC, the Institute Innovation Council, and the Student Grievance Redressal Committee at Shoolini University. In recognition of my contributions to high-impact research, I have received multiple awards, particularly for publishing in journals with five or more impact factors.
