Experienced higher education administrator with more than 20 years of experience in online education as a member of faculty, a researcher and administrator. Passionate about increasing access to educational opportunities for all students, I have worked in several higher education institutions and helped them develop robust portfolio of online programs to address the needs of traditional and non-traditional students. Currently I serve as the Associate Provost for Online and Continuing education at University of Texas at Tyler. In this role, I provide leadership and administrative oversight for all aspects of online and continuing education enterprise, including support for faculty and students, student recruitment, promoting pedagogical innovations and digital education strategies, and growing the portfolio of online programs as well as stackable and non-credit certificates to engage lifelong learners. Research interests: Online pedagogy research, academic innovation, data-informed teaching/learning practices. Have published extensively in scholarly journals and serve as reviewer for many journals and conferences. I am also a member of many professional organizations and regularly present on technology, education and innovation at national and international conferences.Competencies include: online and blended learning strategy, online and blended learning program development and management, market research/recruitment, online pedagogy research, design thinking, learning analytics, academic innovation and organizational change.
