Supervise the implementation of the disaster services program for the southeast Tennessee region. Lead and supervise disaster program staff and volunteer teams responsible for local preparation, response and recovery management as well as management of government partnerships within the southeast Tennessee region. Some of my responsibilities include:- Establish and implement disaster services program goals, objectives, policies, and procedures in southeast TN in alignment with established metrics. Coordinate the day-to-day functions that support these programs in accordance with policies and procedures.-Lead and supervise volunteer teams responsible for the implementation of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs in the local area.-Manage local responses by the deployment of volunteers on a daily basis in a rapid and accessible manner. Serve during times of disaster as the operational leadership on a local level. Participate in a leadership role on larger operations regionally, divisionally and nationwide.-Mobilize the local community to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. Meet the needs and expectations of clients and stakeholders.
