During my time at SOHO House I worked within the events team. I initially started as an event assistant where I managed all the private dining events hosted at the house. I later went on to fill the position of Wedding and Events Manager due to maternity leave. I filled the position of Wedding and Events Manager for a year. During my time in the position, I managed all the weddings at Babington House and the private events.

After completing a Marketing apprentice I have now been promoted to Marketing and Events Assistant. My main responsibilities are to support the Marketing and Events Manager on the event programme and marketing for Inspire.We hold over 16 events a month, these events include networking events, educational seminars and other larger events such as the Enterprise Wiltshire Awards and Enterprise. My responsibilities range from supporting booking confirmations for venues and speakers to creating and updating Eventbrite, the website, social media and marketing materials with our events.I work within the marketing team this involves digital marketing, including social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram and LinkedIn. I am accountable for updating MailChimp; this involves creating emails and ensuring that the mailing list is updated and correct. Show less

I am currently carrying out an Apprenticeship in Marketing and Events with Inspire. I have already gained invaluable experience since I have been here. I help with the admin and the organising for the events. I am also involved in marketing and the social media for Inspire.

I worked at the Full Moon for a number of years as a waitress and gained experience in customer services. I was involved with all of the events including the Christmas parties, Weddings and larger events. After being involved with the events at the Full Moon I discovered my passion for events and marketing.
