Northbay Endoscopy is an outpatient surgery center led by Dr. Stephen Steady and Dr. Stephen Denigris in Petaluma, CA. -Oversaw the technical process for all medical procedures-Collected and maintained records of all equipment processed as well as quality assurance data-Managed the inflow and storage of all inventory, assuring critical efficiency for every operation-Negotiated contracts with medical devices companies which resulted in 10% decrease in annual expenses-Integrated new technologies and implemented procedures that cut the preparation time in half, increasing our weekly appointments

Under the guidance of Dr. David Gerkins, three undergraduate students and I researched the effectiveness of multiple learning strategies and study habits. We created an experiment comparing the effectiveness of two traditional note taking process, highlighting significant passages and margin annotations, and a third, relatively novel strategy, concept mapping, a form of visually organizing information. -Created three separate test groups focusing on each strategy-Collected and coded data related to each participant and effectiveness of each strategy -Ran statistical analysis to compare the performance of the learning strategies-Repeated the experimental process multiple times to increases population representation-Presented our findings at the Western Psychological Association Convention in May 2015
