I am a University of the Pacific graduate with a bachelor of science in Computer Engineering. My love of learning stems from my passion for creating new things, whether it be coding and debugging software or building and testing new circuits. At the University of the Pacific, the classes I have taken allowed me to strengthen my skills while also gaining various new skills that include: ● Knowledge of C++, Java, System Verilog, and MATLAB ● Strong understanding of both hardware and software components ● Experienced with Windows and Linux operating systems ● Effective at using Microsoft 365While at the University of the Pacific, I have had many opportunities to test the skills that I've acquired through projects. Some of these projects include:● I coded an online shopping cart utilizing arrays and lists in C++ that allowed for adding, removing, and checking out of an online shopping cart. ● In C++, I coded an online banking system using objects and classes that allowed users to make, manage, and delete accounts across various users. ● Using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, I coded a webpage for an art gallery that allowed users to navigate the interface easier to see various artworks and let them inquire further through email or social media.Another big project of mine that I worked on focused on a pseudo-perpetual motion device. This involved integrating Arduino microcontrollers with electromagnets and motion sensors, requiring expertise in hardware selection, firmware development, and rigorous testing. Through this project, I honed my skills in debugging complex systems, optimizing code efficiency, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.Aside from the software, I also have taken classes and have experience with the hardware side. In classes like microcontrollers, electronics, and circuits, I have had involvement in building, testing, and experimenting with circuits. I also have experience with the equipment used such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators.During my academics, I also gained invaluable hands-on experience through an internship at Holt of California, where I contributed to network engineering projects and provided help desk support, further enhancing my practical skills and industry knowledge."
