I am fascinated with the process of hiring and retaining people for employment, especially regarding DEIJ processes. I seek to understand the timeline from the creation and submission of the resume, networking, ATS review, human review, interview, and hiring decision. I enjoy finding evidence based data to support individuals I work with to better their chances of seeking the career that they want, with a focus on disability. The people that have supervised me, as well as the people I have worked with and supervised, would describe me as researched focused, data driven, and focused on helping others enter the workforce successfully while continuing to support them as they rise up the ladder. With data informed decisions, I currently work on a project to better understand hiring initiatives of all groups with a current focus on aiding individuals on the autism spectrum receive and retain employment. Currently, I am seeking opportunities in career development using innovative practices to maximize student hiring success. Areas of interest are industrial/organizational psychology, student affairs practices, K-12 career education, workforce development, and labor statistic data.
Listed skills include Psychology, Research, Higher Education, Student Development, and 5 others.
