I learned Japanese and talked to everyone I could talk to in Tokyo about Jesus Christ. It was 99% rejection, but I came out of it knowing what hard work, persistence, and humility feels like (or was it humiliation, because of my bad language ability?) Definitely one of the most fascinating experiences I've ever had.
