While in team lead role I focused on:1) Figuring out if my teamwork is really solving the correct problem with in an appropriate timeline.2) Proving a safe space for my reports to fail and grow, ensuring that they are appreciated and motivated.3) Communicating timelines for stakeholders. Planning bi-weekly sprints, ensuring that there alignment between across multiple development and product teams.4) Ensuring alignment across the teams on various architectural/design decisions and making sure that the teams align. Creating and owning my teams technical improvements process and roadmap.5) Managing interpersonal & technical conflict within & outside of the team.2021 I initially led a team of two people that grew into team team of three direct reports. One of them one was regular developer, one junior and one senior. I actively participated in hiring three of them.2022 I got another team, which started with two direct reports. I managed to help one of them to grow into senior developer and then later into team lead. I also actively participated in hiring of two people for my previous team and initially co-led it too.2023 I started managing additional remote senior developer, who was a one man team, his field was semi related to my first team I lead.2024I left my previous team and responsibilities and joined a already formed team, which consisted of two architects, one senior and one regular developer. Two of them being remote, while other two working on site.
