Worked as an undergraduate researcher under Dr. Xinhua Liang in the Chemical Engineering Department studying the photocatalytic activity of coated nanoparticles as well as working on improvements of lithium-ion battery technology via coated nanoparticles. It involved performing meticulous experiments, diligently recording data, and analyzing that data. It also involved collection and reading of related literature as well as finding potential creative explanations of findings.
