The Puducherry Power Corporation limited was incorporated with the objective of generating 32.5 MW of Electricity (22.9 MW from Gas Turbine and 9.6 MW from Steam Turbine) at Karaikal, Puducherry UT, India.

• Work permit development.• Build electrical power distribution systems in overhead (HV & EHV) and underground (HV) lines of 33 kV (ADCO) & 400 kV (DEWA).• Erection, testing & commissioning of distribution transformer and underground cabling.• Overhead & underground fiber optic cable including retrofitting works under live line condition.• Plans layout of pole lines and underground cable and solves problems, such as determining height, location, spacing, guying, and insulating of poles.• Manage voltage drop, short circuit, power factor, and sag and stress in a timely manner.• Analyze system failures and suggest appropriate resolutions.• Work with Manager in planning and executing assigned electrical distribution projects within deadlines and budgets.• Wear safety equipment and follow to safety procedures at all times and Indentify& notify safety concerns to management promptly.• Maintain records and schedules, and database for future reference purposes.

• Installation of TATA Telecom Tower from ground to completion of various heights including supporting structures for services and lines like waveguide bridges, cable trays, underground cable route using designed conduits etc, at various states in India.• Installation and maintenance of various associated hardware and equipment related to antennas, transmission lines, tower lighting, grounding systems and Generator.• Interact effectively and productively with Construction technical operations/maintenance group as well as other installation technicians.• Recognizing Safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner.
