My duties include:- Training employees on health and safety protocols (LOTO, ERP, WHMIS, QMS) to ensure awareness and reduce workplace hazards.- Collaborating with vendors, suppliers to maintain compliance with environmental standards such as RoHS, CRMT, PFAS and REACH.- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and improve safety practices. (PPE compliance, SDS Audits, Regulatory Compliance Audits, Inspection for machine guarding, equipment safety, health & wellness audit, BBS Audits, Fire Safety Audits, JHSC Audits) - Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and implementing best practices to enhance overall safety culture.- Conducting thorough investigations of workplace incidents to identify root causes, utilizing techniques such as the 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams to gain deep insights.- Developing new safety protocols and conducting risk assessments across various departments. (LOTO Procedures, Spill Response procedures, Environmental Compliance procedure, ERP)- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into day-to-day.- Engaging with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
