Dr. Prabu Sevugan, a Certified Blockchain Associate, completed a B.E in Computer Engineering from Periyar University Salem and Did an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from the College of Engineering Guindy Anna University Chennai. Then, completed another M.Tech in Information Technology and a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Bharathidasan University Tiruchirappalli. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Guided and awarded 8 PhDs and 1 MS (by Research). Acquired research grants worth 2.4 Cr. He has 143 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Also Authored 3 Books, Edited 4 Books, published 16 book chapters, and one patent. He has organized 3 International Conferences, including one IEEE Conference as chair, and participated in many workshops and seminars. He is a member of many professional bodies, a senior member of IEEE, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers. He has 20+ years of experience in teaching and research. Before joining Pondicherry University, he extended his service in various capacities in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore, as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Security and Division Chair of Parallel and Distributed Computing. Presently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Banking Technology at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India.
