Project: Collins Aerospace Interior & Exterior lighting systems ( Offshore support for Collins Aerospace, New Berlin, WI, USA & Bohemia, NY, USA)- Create detailed mechanical models and drawings using SolidWorks / SolidEdge & choose appropriate mechanical components to meet requirements- Creation of Method sheets, ACMM, WI, DDPs documents for various lighting systems.- Responsible for Managing team’s execution, quality processes, deliverables.- Work closely with cross functional offshore teams to meet quality & delivery deadlines. - Validation of photometric test data as per requirement.

Project: Collins Aerospace (Formarly B/E Aerosapce) - Commercial Airliner to Freighter conversion- Technical training for team members- Concept design, preliminary & detail design of Outboard seat track assembly.- Design of bracket assemblies for Static tube lines, Kick plate assemblies.- Concept design for lighting installation and Smoke Evacuation system for Q300- Design of partitions and door design and drawing creation for CRJ700.- Concept design, preliminary & detail design of Interior Liner Installations. - Responsible for quality of deliveries from team.

- Assist production in resolving product build issues & make sure the issues are resolved at quick time.- Create & present engineering change notification (ECO) to change board members for drawing updates/design improvements/corrections as needed.- Building required configuration of lighting assemblies using existing / available / new assemblies, detailing of assemblies / components using SolidEdge / Solidworks & Solidworks PDM tool.- New derivative product design support- Investigate Non-conforming assemblies / parts during FAI’s and suggest engineering disposition.- Investigate lights which fail defined quality inspection criteria (QIC) requirements. Update QIC if required after required approvals. - Investigation of historical production testing data for comparison to current production units if required for possible solution. - Create/update/Check product build work instructions/modification documents, qualification documents, QTP/QTR, ATP/ATR, CMMs.- Tolerances stack up analysis for assemblies with recurring dimensional assembly / built issues & propose dimensional changes if necessary.- Work with suppliers for part obsolescence, selection of replacement & update of related documents- Work with supplier for resolution of recurring quality issues. If necessary / feasible, propose changes through ECO for possible solutions. - Co-ordinate & get concurrence / approvals from supplier for dimensional / design changes for existing parts.- Represent Engineering for quality clinic meetings for investigation, resolution & mitigation of return materials from customer.- Work with cross functional teams to resolve issues / clarify customer queries if any- Create customer specific documentation for change requests

Projects: NPD & ECM for Bombardier C-series program- Preliminary Design, detail design, Layout creation, Installation & assembly drawing creation of Aft fuselage & Cockpit loading straps for CAST (Complete Airframe Static test). Aft fuselage & Cockpit blanking plates design & drawing creation for Ground pressure testing. - Preliminary & detail design of Tail bumper assembly, Design & drawing creation of supportive rack / bracket assemblies for Pressure scanner systems, flow scanner systems & signal conditioning systems during flight test- MBD creation for detail’s & creation of layout, detail assembly, assembly & installation drawings for assemblies. - Co-ordinate with Onsite SPOC for following with different groups till the release process is completed.- Responsible for overseeing the quality procedures, meeting delivery schedules, studying and assigning the received work among team members & training new joiners to team.- Execution of PCR’s (Product Change Request) which involves creation of concepts for the new changes proposed, update the baseline assembly with approved concept, updating assembly drawings.- Creation of SOW’s based on customer requirements & get the approval for same from customer.- Creation of all required documents & uploading in eroom (Kaizen database) for release process.- Lead a team for Execution of PCR which included moving of tubing lines to the Nose landing gear from LHS to RHS to meet certification requirement. - Redesign of CS100 FTE components for wing as per stress data for CS300 aircraft.

- Worked on System 3 - Hydraulic rack assembly, APU Firex Assembly, Avionics rack assembly & System Brackets in AEB area of Aft fuselage. - Detail design & conceptual design of parts/assemblies in line with existing aircraft structural components, tubing & harness lines.- Detailing & assembly drawing creation of finalized designs & initiate release process by uploading the required documents in eroom & Icare database. - Follow up with various cross functional departments till the component is released for production. - Act as a focal point for offshore team for any technical work related queries & ensuring quality of deliveries by offshore team.
