It is an efficient tool for Analysis, Classification and TrendAnalysis of Defects identified by Mask Inspection Systems.Roles & Responsibilities: Understand the requirements and writing functional specification for the features provided withNxDAT Contributed to various modules of the tool in design as well as in implementation phase Re-designed and implemented a complete module of NxDAT named Repeatability Analysis Unit Testing of the modules developed Suggested various improvement scopes to enhance the performance of the tool through peer reviewNxADC: NxADC is a R&D project which automatically determines the types of defectsencountered and assigns a Defect Type to them. For the same NxADC uses a range of ImageProcessing techniques like Image Registration, Noise Detection, Critical DimensionVariation, Feature Detection etc. Also, the tool provides a variety of useful informationregarding the defect to the operator for further analysis of the Mask.Roles & Responsibilities: Understand various classification types used by different customers and designed algorithms for thesame Implemented Noise Detection and Maximum Critical Dimension Variation algorithms which formthe base for multiple other defect detection techniques Study of the research papers to earn more insight about mask defects and their effects on waferfabrication in IC design industry Work for the enrichment of the capture rate of the defect types and fine tune the algorithms Evaluated third party tools which could lay a foundation in some aspects of NxADC Involvement in complete Software Development Lifecycle
