I had end-to-end responsibility for identifying/building opportunities, estimating commercials, submitting proposals, and ensuring satisfactory execution. Also streamlined the average billing cycle from 30 to 5 days, and the collection cycle from 60 to less than 25 days.
Responsible for New Initiatives in a financial services startup focussed on investment and educational products in Equity, MF and Fixed Income Instruments. Managed a budget of USD 2MM, and a team of 59 members across 11 vendors. Some of the critical initiatives that were implemented at true internet speed include:* Established a centralised contact center for phone/email based transactions and customer service * Selected and implemented Siebel CRM * Voice Portal for automated phone based transactions* MF and Bond trading and Settlement System and interfaces to all leading Mutual Funds
Responsible for identifying customer needs in Global Transaction Processing and Operations Domain, Conceptualizing Solutions, Obtaining Budget Approvals, and Implementing the Solution. * Conceptualised and implemented Citibank's and India's first browser based corporate e-Banking solution - SpeedCollect 2000. Queries received reduced by as much as 78% in some categories. * Integrated SpeedCollect 2000 with CitiDirect the Global Internet Platform for Corporate customers. Rolled out the product to several countries in CEEMEA. Today, the system is called as Delphi, and defends revenue of over USD 40MM across the EMEA region. * Rolled out the first Electronic Transaction Initiation Product in India (MTMS), and the first multi currency funds transfer product in the CEEMEA region (NCB). Also integrated them with the accounting/ERP systems of several companies.
Managed revenues of USD 3.6MM across 60 customers, including all the top 10 customers. * 100% strike rate for repeat deals. * Developed new product features and structured customized solutions as part of the product management team.* Structured and implemented the 3 largest deals in Capital market Services for the company in the years '97 and '98. * Recipient of Operations Excellence Award twice
