-Taking Lead and review of Supplier selection based on manufacturing capability and scope -Drive Supplier Parts development for Capacity improvements and alternate developments -Drawing Feasibility and Technical review of critical parts /process with design and manufacturing. -Part Development signoff and effective process measure as per APQP process Stage. -Managing & development of part process as per Project time plan. -Approach Right first time development of Parts/process till handover. -SOB finalisation of supplier as per past performance. -Effective planning with scheduling and hand holding till handover. -Evaluation of potential supplier for manufacturing process improvement through audit & sustenance for up gradation. -Supplier process improvements through- Manufacturing Process audit , DFA & DFM improvement through Layout inspection, capability assessment (Cp & Cpk) , reliability parts audit and process standardization -Guide & assist to supplier for productivity improvement ,tool/fixture correction, process validation, measurement means , Defect prevention (Poka yoke) and qualification for spl process -Approval of PPAP for new parts / Alternate development ,Review performance & decision making for Alternate Sourcing & Capacity Enhancement Projects

Key Responsibilities: Improving process like Customer concerns, OEE loss, QP stage-St pass, FPY, CQA, FVPA, Process Audit, QIS and LRN through daily PQCDSM RFT improvement through manufacturing process audit, control and standardization FVPA (Final vehicle product Audit )-finish improvement through benchmarking for casting, fabrication & skin parts with customer irritants through DMR score reduction and smart cast improvement Problem solving – monitor defects /DMR for parts IVC’S and Identifying improvement scope & problem eliminate from root cause through 8D , QC story methodology. Process, DFA & DFM improvement through Layout inspection, critical part characteristics (Cp & Cpk) performance review and process standardization Evaluation & auditing of potential supplier for manufacturing process improvement through iMARQ audit & sustenance with up gradation- focus on bottom supplier through Top Gear initiatives Guide & assist to supplier for tool/fixture design, validation, measurement means and process qualification for spl process On time PPAP execution/ approval of new parts introduction and process up-gradation based on past failure and prevention approach Approval of iDoL parts certification and monitoring its effectiveness Ensure compliance to supplier performance based on commodity and ensuring adherence to quality standards alignment to achieve quality goals Presenting CSF & MPCP for key performance indicator for control and improvements to senior management Contribute to executive policy and strategy, promoting quality achievement Develop positive relationships, mobilizing manpower and developing their skills for multi skilling in manufacturing /control and standardization
