I believe that children when engaged with hands-on enquiry based engineering projects early on can develop a lifelong passion for it. An Engineer and a creator at heart, I work with elementary school students, using my specially crafted curriculum to help them become confident future innovators. I enjoy watching students in my program thrive and innovate everyday . The Engineering Design Process is at the core of my Program.As the Founder of Petri-dish Science, I have a vision of making engineering a part of the curriculum taught in elementary schools today to build essential critical thinking and problem solving skills during these foundational years. The hands-on , project based learning model can completely transform the student learning experience .I have experience working with both public and private local schools to implement my S.T.E.A.M curriculum . I was also delighted to be chosen by a local public school to train their teachers in NGSS (Next generation science standards ).In past years, my team and I have been working around the clock to provide this curriculum as an online offering to benefit students worldwide. My team consists of UX/ UI designers, content creators, illustrators, graphic designers and Digital marketing professionals .Along the way, I have acquired 21st-century skills like website creation, video editing, graphic design using canva , SEO, and digital marketing. I enjoy creating courses to teach these skills to students to empower them with the tools needed to succeed as young professionals.I am a futurist who believes technology and innovation can help our world become better. I enjoy hiking, swimming, playing basketball with my kids and watching Science fiction movies.
